I'd like to know how many PPS-MEGA tasks I've completed, is there a way to tell this?

Thanx

Dad

No delete post button so...
Edit: too early in the morning - forgot PPS is a group and doesn't show individual tasks done for Mega

Thanx, but that doesn't 'break down' which are PPS, which are PPSE and which are MEGA

Short answer: No.

The information is only stored as the total number of (combined) PPS tasks, so that's the best you can do.

Worse yet, PPS-MEGA at one time was on PRPNet, and those tasks aren't included in the totals at all.

Dad, since it hasn't been long you have joined, the following work around might be useful.

Under Windows, there is a file named job_log_www.primegrid.com.txt in the BOINC data folder (usually, C:\ProgramData\BOINC - it might be a hidden folder).

It contains info about every crunched task, like:
1503804284 ue 1968.319424 ct 1036.218800 fe 8312950002620 nm llrPPSE_286593706_1 et 1041.222776 es 0 1503805457 ue 349.091799 ct 1439.594000 fe 1474345392893 nm genefer15_11456676_2 et 1444.406988 es 0 ... 1503808433 ue 5870.202254 ct 2756.765600 fe 24792062324005 nm llrPPS_289219897_2 et 2767.686205 es 0 1503808462 ue 5870.204610 ct 2748.968800 fe 24792072274214 nm llrPPS_289219900_2 et 2760.173393 es 0 1503809425 ue 1544.991455 ct 854.265600 fe 6525077464567 nm llrSGS_291575031_0 et 861.064407 es 0 ... 1541536869 ue 35624.025316 ct 93.656250 fe 1691202799204100 nm genefer20_19394017_0 et 18551.191843 es 0 1541539449 ue 36790.423756 ct 110.875000 fe 1746576000000000 nm ap27_1221337_0 et 2574.627502 es 0 1541593021 ue 336996.523907 ct 228337.796900 fe 1582098608543700 nm llrPSP_303692098_3 et 57955.862791 es 0 1541594070 ue 10619.708869 ct 3968.843800 fe 49856379615759 nm llrMEGA_303675707_1 et 1048.192320 es 0 1541595130 ue 10619.735919 ct 3970.484400 fe 49856506605984 nm llrMEGA_303675754_0 et 1052.238022 es 0 1541596198 ue 10619.754142 ct 3989.234400 fe 49856592157358 nm llrMEGA_303675788_0 et 1061.000887 es 0

You can count the occurrences of llrPPSE_xxx, llrPPS_xxx and llrMEGA_xxxx in this file.

Note I don't know where this file is located under other OSes (Linux, Darwin, etc)

Edit:
To get the total number of tasks you've crunched, you´ll have to take the above mentioned file from each client computer you have crunching PG (or that has ever crunched for PG).

Send me your text files, I've already made an excel sheet to do the counting.

Didn't knew that, thanks!

Not that much effort.
If your working on windows, open your cmd window and go to C:\ProgramData\BOINC.
Then type and execute

find "llrMEGA_" /c job_log_www.primegrid.com.txt

This will count the occurences of all "llrMEGA_xxx" strings for you. For me it gives the following breakdown:

PPS: 320
PPSE: 3902
MEGA: 97

Sum: 4319
On my account page it says: 4312 for combined PPS (almost...)

Maybe there are also aborted tasks included in this file? Does the account page count not yet confirmed results?
