This at the end really got me thinking:

Additionally, the paper claims to have produced an algorithm that “enables one to predict primes with high accuracy.” While the usefulness of such a tool is not yet known, it marks another step towards conclusively solving the enigma of prime numbers.

Well, that would certainly change things around here!

Now does that mean that it could be used to narrow the range of, for example, the next largest known prime or is it more like a finer sieve for removing composite numbers?
