I did look for the original idea which inspired mine. Someone suggested computers working on many parts of an SOB task together across the network. This would be too much for the SOB servers though, bandwidth issues.

Today I thought of someone's home network of computers having one task manager and getting all their home computers working together on the smaller pieces of multiple SOB's. Then one computer would report the results for the work. I don't know if this has been thought of before. Parts of the task could be distributed depending on fp rate and # of cores and processor make.

I'm not a computer programmer, I'm not a hacker, I don't know if this is a good idea and I'm sure it has flaws. Due to the multiple differences in computer make + model could the results be trusted?

Then there is the Torrent similar idea and crypto mining/hashin in pools. They are making 256bit/script hashes, SOB is a lot more CPU intensive so I don't even know if it is possible.

That wouldn't help. The goal of splitting up one SoB task into little pieces wasn't to make the task go faster (it would actually be slower), but simply to have shorter tasks. The pieces CAN NOT be run in parallel -- they have to be run sequentially. You can't run piece #2 until after you have the result from piece #1. So there would be no advantage at all in doing what you suggest. It would add lots of complexity, and you would gain nothing.
