I don't understand what happened with this task.
Timed out after less than 3.5 hours?

Check the clock on your computer. That problem is typically caused when the computer's clock is set into the future, beyond the deadline. The BOINC client thinks the task is expired and sends it back to the server.

Time is correct now, but two other tasks were affected at the same time (one SR5, one SGS), Small number on a system with 16 vCPUs.
Probably just a glitch. Don't recall any problems with that system at that time, but that would have been while I was asleep.

CMOS battery on motherboard can cause time-date issues if it's old and the computer has been cold-started, but it's been a long time since I've used any mobo long enough to expire the battery. | |
