One of my desktops had a failed power supply after orderly shutdown, and by the time the warranty repair will be completed the dozens of TRP Sieve tasks running and waiting to start will be long expired. Is there a way I can abort these tasks now from one of my other working and connected machines? Or should I wait until after repair and run or abort them even if late?

Thanks,

There's no reasonable way to abort them, so just let them expire. When the system is repaired, if it's past the deadline BOINC will automatically abort any tasks that haven't started yet, but will continue running any tasks that are already started. Depending on late they are, you might want to abort those manually. If they're returned after the server erases them from the database, you won't get credit.
