When SoB moved to using Prime95 instead of the original SoB client, one of the benefits was the built-in P-1 factoring taking place before the full primality test. Since we use LLR here, that possibility doesn't exist. Was P-1 factoring run on the candidates prior to being handed out as PG WUs? And if not, should we consider doing so under the PSA banner?

(A followup question would be at what point this might be appropriate for other subprojects, but that would be out of place here)

I believe that SoB had done some P-1, but that the removal rate wasn't worth the effort.
