You'll get your credit (assuming the residues match), though you may have to wait a little while.
When a task hits this limit without being faulty in and of itself, admins will reset the max tasks limit until it completes and validates.

Depends how far you are into it and if you want to lose the computing time. You'll get the credit if it matches the others because you got your unit before the other person returned their late one.

Yes you are not being any double checker or anything like that, so it's wasted cycles either way, but your choice to work to finish and get the immediate credits or junk the time you spent on it.
