I just hid an otherwise reasonable thread about ideas regarding a new challenge idea ("Decathalon") because it had devolved into a discussion about how to structure the rules so as to exclude a single individual.
This was bordering on flaming/hate speech.

To top it off, the person they were talking about is someone who has volunteered his time and expertise towards improving the LLR program. Pretty soon we're going to be putting LLR2 into production here, and it will essentially double the speed of many of the LLR projects by all but eliminating double checking. It will also allow people to use slow computers without worrying about being "first" because you won't be competing against wingmen anymore.
Besides the "we don't discriminate against anyone" reasoning, you also don't "bite the hand that feeds you." Pavel is one of the luminaries here. Treat him with the respect he deserves.
