Yes, mrwizer was the original founder of Team Anandtech but he hasn't been active in this project or any other boinc project for many years. If you could make Ken_g6 the founder that would be great. | |

On most projects we have the TeAm AnandTech Committee, or TAC, as the founder. That's an account that all the TAC members (me and Petrusbroder, and we need to get another one) have access to. That way foundership can't get lost if somebody like mrwizer leaves.
Assigning foundership to me would be fine for now. I'm also founder on Milkyway, since the TAC account doesn't seem to work for some reason. | |

Given that the current founder technically did follow the proper BOINC team foundership transfer procedure (not that we believe it is legitimate), we would like to email them first. If we don't hear back from them in a few days, we'll transfer it to Ken_g6. | |

Another point: this ownership transfer and name change do not affect any team credit; all credit amassed while the team name was different will remain yours after the name gets changed back, including challenge points. | |
