Something wrong happens when program tried to find OpenCL devices on your system.

Try to run other OpenCL programs and check is your OpenCL setup working at all or not:

- clinfo (install from package if not installed yet), post output here;
- manual sieving program ( http://www.primegrid.com/download/gfnsvcuda/gfnsvocl_linux_x86_64 ) - run as "./gfnsvocl_linux_x86_64 18 100 200" You don't need to do anything useful with it, just run this command line and see was it started crunching or not.

Found the problem. There was a Mesa-libOpenCL installed on the system that was no longer necessary and the GFN app was trying to select a non-existent Mesa OpenCL device instead of the Nvidia OpenCL device. Thank you for the information about the "clinfo" tool, I was not aware it existed.
