Having great success multi-threading SOB tasks, I decided to do some GCW ones.. But, no go. It won't use more than 1 core/thread...

I have this in my app_config.xml file:

<app_version>
<app_name>llrGCW</app_name>
<cmdline>-t 4</cmdline>
<avg_ncpus>4</avg_ncpus>
</app_version>


that's the same as my SOB lines here:

<app_version>
<app_name>llrSOB</app_name>
<cmdline>-t 4</cmdline>
<avg_ncpus>4</avg_ncpus>
</app_version>



The SOB ones are working with 4 threads, the llrGCW are still only using 1 core/thread.

Any ideas? I don't have the <app> section anymore because I was told it wasn't needed...only the app_version now... all works for pps sieving too but just doesn't seem to work for llrGCW.

Problem fixed itself... after a few boinc restarts... strange. I did restart it b4 when I had edited the app_config.

Works well now.

Sometimes a full reboot will also do good.
