I was browsing through the results listed on the server status page listed for "min remaining n", and I noticed something really odd for the one listed for Woodall. It had had a bunch of results with computation errors, and one of them, upon further inspection of the individual result, showed some really weird stderr.txt output. It's too long to paste into this thread, but you can check it out for yourself by going to the result's page. It starts off showing what looks like normal stderr output of the LLR wrapper, but then the app had apparently crashed and some kind of BOINC runtime debugger had been run. But then the really weird part came:

It appears that the LLR app restarted after it had crashed, and was progressing fine, until it starts outputting as if it's doing Primegen work! In the middle of an LLR result's stderr.txt file! After showing all the output that it would for a Primegen workunit, it went back to the output it would give for a normal LLR workunit. Throughout the rest of the stderr.txt output, there is a mix of LLR and Primegen output, similar to what I pasted here.

It's almost like there was an LLR workunit and a Primegen one running at the same time, and the wrapper was somehow getting confused which one it was supposed to be controlling...yet since Primegen does not have a separate wrapper executable, I can't imagine how this could happen. No wonder the result came back as a computation error!

Apparently, BOINC started LLR and primegen apps in the same slot. Probably LLR had crashed, but the slot wasn't cleared.
