About 10-14 days ago my account listed my second hit on an SGS Prime.
I had already had one hit as a Double-Checker.
It was during the PPS Challenge so I knew things
were busy, plus the database problems.
The database problems seem to be resolved and all the emails seem to have gone out for the Challenge, but I am still waiting on my SGS prime.
My account shows two hits but my Prime Number list still only shows my first DoubleChecker
for SGS.
I am still waiting to find out if my second hit was a Primary find or a double checker.
Please advise.
Cheers. |

All prime finders get 19 days to file their prime on the top 5000 list. After that the double checker gets the same 19-day opportunity before the prime is ultimately filed by PrimeGrid anonymously. You are likely the double checker, and thus still have about 5-9 days left before you will be notified. If the original finder reports it in the meantime, it will then show up on your found list.

what if you have checked the box where you want PrimeGrid to automatically submit the Prime for you...like they always have
for my PPS primes?

Back around Nov 19th I had 2 hits. 1 has been confirmed as mine but the other one has never been confirmed as either an initial or a double checker and it's been over 21+ days. Was just wondering if there's a black hole some where that's not wanting to let primes loose.
Also, as a wish, is there anyway a text file or some kind of file can be generated that would allow users to export their activity with all the details being reported per task per row? Then allow us users to import/download the data file for ourselves for review or what not. Trying to manually go through each and every task is almost impossible.

No black holes but there are about 90 SGS primes backlogged right now. PPS (LLR) has fallen behind again and borders the 5000th position in the Top 5000 Primes database. SGS primes are slowly going out as space permits.

Thanks for the update John. Just glad to know the black holes are still in space. Until and unless the new LHC creates one :)
